Starting business during the lockdown by Marie Kadouri

A few months ago, while the pandemic was in full swing, Muberaq Abdalla became the owner of small premises on Edgware Road. He sells falafels and all sorts of dishes. "I do everything myself," he says proudly. Indeed, he wants everything to be "perfect" and his business to attract the most customers. Mubarak works every day, starts very early in the morning and his family helps him from time to time.

The "pandemic is making things difficult" he tells me, but he still keeps a smile on his face. Further on, he shows me his kitchen where he shares with me his new recipe ideas that he would like to start after the Christmas holidays.
