In Conversation With Ted Whiteside

Join UCL European Horizons and Diplomacy Society in conversation with Ted Whiteside on NATO’s security risks and challenges on February 11th at 19:00 GMT! Ted Whiteside is NATO’s Deputy Assistant Secretary General for Public Diplomacy and former Secretary of the North Atlantic Council. In this event, he will give us an insider perspective of NATO, including how the organisation has adapted to the changing nature of security risks, threats, and conflict in the 21st century. This ranges from challenges posed by Russia and increasingly China to Covid-19’s shift from a health crisis to a security crisis. He will also discuss his unique journey into this organisation and offer advice on those hoping to pursue a career in NATO!
