Join us on Thursday, March 18th at 5PM GMT for a fascinating discussion evening with two second-year civil service fast streamers ! Elizabeth O’ Brien’s first year in the fast stream was spent at HMRC where she first worked on operational transformation and coordinated a bid for budget. She was then surged to the COVID Response Unit to work in the PMO for the Self-Employed Income Support Scheme – the self-employed version of the furlough scheme. Her next posting was at the Home Office in a finance role and she’ll shortly be heading on secondment to ‘Kings Health Partners’. Hannah Davey on the other hand specialised in the Project Delivery Scheme. Her first stream role was as a Project Manager in ONS working on transforming social surveys as part of a large data collection programme. She is currently on secondment with the Children’s Commissioner for Wales, and will shortly be moving to the DWP as a Job Coach Team Leader.
